This second annual version of the event was a lot of fun, but Highway 1 can be a bit scary at points. This event is put on by EnviroSports which has lots of great events year ’round. Race Across Marin is a 51 mile bike ride from Bodega Bay to the top of Mt Tamalpais followed by a 16-mile run to Ft Baker in Sausalito. Some of the 76 participants did both events but my friend Kelli did the run after I finished the ride. . .
